Please take note that we have two (2) training venues to be able to reach as many members as possible.

Class location will be identified by the initials for each location. Fees for the training sessions go to cover materials and breaks. Unless specifically noted, training fees for 2010 are as follows:

BAAGGL Member (Half Day) $50 for each attendee
Non-BAAGGL Member (Half Day) $75 for each attendee
BAAGGL Member (Full Day) $75 for each attendee
Non-BAAGGL Member (Full Day) $100 for each attendee

SBA 1502 Reporting
Target: SBA Processor in charge of preparing the monthly 1502 report. A two day course for support personnel who service SBA loans and report the status of their institutions portfolio to SBA’s Fiscal Transfer Agent (FTA). Topics include: Processing cycle & timing issues, Introduction to SBA Form 1502, Ongoing servicing fee, Special handling reporting, Loan exceptions and discrepancies, 1502 related servicing actions, Payment adjustments and data exchange. SBA Construction Lending
Target: SBA Department Managers, Business Development Officers SBA Underwriters and Loan Processors. This course will cover the due diligence that is required for SBA lenders making construction loans. Specific topics will include qualifications, due diligence underwriting in the beginning stage, the actual construction phase and the post construction close out and the project wrap up, including how to avoid pitfalls during these tough economic times. Course presenters will be Morris McDaniel, National Construction Department Manager from Wells Fargo Bank’s SBA Lending Group and Luigi Delucchi from Construction Funds Control Services.

SBA 7(a) Documenting, Funding and Closing
Target: Loan Processors in charge of documenting, closing and funding SBA 7(a) loans. This course will cover how to prepare all required SBA documents including the SBA Loan Authorization, the necessary items required to fund an SBA loan and the steps to properly close the SBA 7(a) loan. Course presenter will be Jenny Boister, SBA Manager from Valley Community Bank. Attendees will be on their own for lunch.

Understanding the SOP 50-10
A two day course for new and experienced lenders that need to understand current SBA 7(a) program requirements along with the details of originating and processing 7(a) guaranteed loans. On the agenda: Introduction to the SOP 50-10, SBA 7(a) program parameters, SBA lender responsibilities, SBA loan eligibility, SBA credit standards, SBA Loan Authorization, SBA processing and disbursement. Course presenter will be NAGGL instructor, Roxann Burns from Heritage Bank of Commerce. Attendees will be on their own for lunch.
